One day, while on his usual trip to a construction site with his stonemason father, admiring the series of skyscrapers around, little boy Atual astonishingly announced , “Father… once grown up I’ll too design such magnificent buildings”. That time his father Ramprakash took this announcement just an another boyish fantasy as he was too poor to dream to make his child a highly educated engineer. But he hadn’t a slight Idea that his son Atual was rock hard from within his heart to become – An Engineer. And today indeed, this boy of a poor stonemason, is pursuing Civil Engineering from a renowned college! Miracle …… isn’tit?? How all this happened? How a boy of very humble background with no facilities scored 98% in mathematics in his class 12th and secured his seat in a prestigious engineering college where even students from privileged class struggle for? Ask all this from Atual and he instantly replies that all he has achieved is just because of Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp- founded and being run by Swaymsevaks of RSS to provide free coaching and funds for study to the students of unprivileged sections.




Established in 2012, till now Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp, located in Pallavpuram Colony, of Meerut City in Uttarpradesh, has produced hundreds of students, from deprived sections of society studied here, whohave an inspiration for other with their remarkable success. Students such as Dolly, who after clearing J.E

exams with good rank , now working with a big company at a key position and Saddam, a son of a mere electrician, doing B.tech from MIET, an institute of a repute, are few examples how Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp is opening the new avenues of success for the youngsters of humble backgrounds.


As unique is the work of Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp, similar the tale of it’s formation is. A retired principal of Rashtriya Inter College (Lawar), Meerut, Dayaram Sharma used of give free tutions and pay the schoolfees of the poor student. Then Prant Sewa Pramukh Anil Ji got to know the selfless work of Sh. Dayaram

ji and he motivated him to visit the Sewa-Sangum event of SewaBharti, held in Haridwar. “Attending this event indeed expanded my vision about the unparalleled social work being done by Sangh across India in various segments.”, reveals Dayaram Ji, adding that after attending this event he expressed his desire before Anil ji to join SewaBharti to start a coaching and educational support center for the students of unprivileged class. With the guidance and support of Anil ji and then Local Sanghchalak ji eventually Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp came into existence, where Dayaram ji and his team of teachers started providing free evening coaching classes to the students of 8th to 12th standard.


Started from a single rented room; soon Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp shifted to a new rented building at a nearby school. With its remarkable work and growing strength of students of weaker sections, this Prakalp within no time attracted the attention of philanthropic elites and one of them Dr. Bharat Kumar Donated his house, located in Pallavpuram area, to Eklavya Shiksha Prakalp. Today here at Eklavya exists a fully equipped computer lab, where students are taught accounting software such as Tally for free. Besides evening coaching classes time to time Career counseling too is provided. In the academic year 2012-2013 total 109 students, in 2013-2014 total 113 students and in the following two sessions 136 and 169 student

benefited here.An alumni of Eklavya and currently serving here as a teacher Priya Saini says that every student here, is Eklavya and Dayaram Sir indeed is our real time Guru Dronacharya.
